Listen up

I arrange, produce, record, and perform a wide range of music. I always had a tendency to produce pop music, but I take influences from hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic, R&B, Andean Music, and more.

August Moon

For my final project for Composition Class, I was tasked to compose an original piece. That piece would be played by the professional cellist Ashley Bathgate. This piece (August Moon) is inspired by music from the Golden Age of Hollywood (1910s-1960s). I wanted to achieve rich harmonies with dramatic and romantic music. I also wanted to create a feeling of longing for someone but at the same time a feeling of self-growth. Electronics were used to achieve a more modern and dark texture. Orchestral instruments appear towards the end to add a lush texture and give the piece a majestic feeling. The full video can be found in the Videos Page.
